Not The Hilton
Better than the Hilton,by far one of the best places to stay when visiting the Eastern Cape. Geoff and his team do not hold back when it comes to hospitality with attention to detail-friendly warm welcome on arrival,luxurious accommodation (check out those crisp sheets) and top quality dining in natural african surroundings. The outdoor shower at six in the morning-shared with a millipede-did it for me Highly reccomended from an old African.

We enjoyed our 3 night visit very much and amongst the 6 places we stayed in during our visit to SA the kids and us judged the Elephant Footprint Lodge as top tier place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Elephants Footprint and had a great time on safari. The accommodation was original and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Many thanks in particular for cooking us some vegetarian specials.

Hi Geoff, Just want to thank you for a most enjoyable stay over at the Elephants Footprint Lodge this weekend. This venue is an ideal venue for a small group of 12 couples. The setting is tranquil and very relaxing. The accommodation was really excellent and the meals were of a high quality. Geoff is an excellent host and really goes the extra mile to satisfy everyone’s needs. I really enjoyed the outside shower; this is a first time experience for me at a lodge and makes you feel like you are out in a game park with expectations of animals joining you in the shower ha ha. Just a note to say thanks very much for looking after us during our stay at The Elephants Footprint Lodge. We were all in agreement that our trip down to the lodge from Cape Town, our stay with you and our day out at Addo were the highlight of our trip to South Africa. The South African hospitality we found is second to none. We could easily have stayed another couple of nights and spent more time in the Elephant Park. We are already planning our next trip and it will definitely include your lodge. UK

This place has the WOW factor, which you don't really appreciate until you are actually there. My family and I had a wonderful stay in relaxing surroundings. Geoff is a great host, incredibly helpful, ensuring that you maximise your time in Addo. A great deal of thought has gone into this accommodation and it shows in the attention to detail. We were genuinely sorry to leave and will come back again.
