From Port Elizabeth: Take the N2 towards Grahamstown, after approximately 40km, cross the Sundays River and look for the 'Elephants Footprint' Tourism signs, turn left, follow the road for 1,5km. We are on the left.
From East London, Port Alfred, Grahamstown follow the N2 towards Port Elizabeth. As you go through the village of Colchester look for the 'Elephants Footprint' Tourism signs, turn right, follow the road for 1,5km. We are on the left.
The elusive Leopard in Addo has been spotted by 2 groups of tourists in the last 2 weeks of September 2008.
Lions
Main LION sightings in ADOO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK are in the Waynes Valley area on the Southern access Road. 3 new lion cubs have been born in AENP in June / July. This brings the number of lions in the park to 12. Twice as many as were initially introduced.
